Do you offer wedding photography services throughout New Hope and Bucks County?
Yes! We provide complete wedding photography coverage throughout New Hope, Lambertville, Lahaska, Peddler's Village, Doylestown, Newtown, Yardley, Washington Crossing, and all of Bucks County, PA. We've photographed weddings at every major venue in the area including the Logan Inn, Stella of New Hope, Centre Bridge Inn, River House at Odette's, and countless private estates and outdoor locations. We're familiar with the best spots for portraits and timing throughout the region.
How far in advance should we book our wedding photographer?
We recommend booking as soon as you have your venue and date confirmed—ideally 9-12 months in advance for peak wedding season (May through October). Weekend dates in popular months fill up quickly, especially at sought-after venues in New Hope and surrounding areas. However, we do accommodate last-minute bookings when our schedule allows, so don't hesitate to reach out even if your wedding is just a few months away!
What's included in your wedding photography packages?
Our wedding packages include full-day coverage (typically 8-10 hours), a complimentary engagement session, high-resolution digital images with printing rights, a private online gallery with lifetime access, professional editing and color correction, and a second photographer for full-day packages. We also offer optional add-ons like wedding albums, parent albums, bridal portraits, and extended coverage. Every package is customizable to fit your specific needs and timeline.
When will we receive our wedding photos?
You'll receive a sneak peek of 15-20 beautifully edited images within 48 hours of your wedding day—perfect for sharing the excitement with friends and family! Your complete gallery of professionally edited high-resolution images will be delivered within 4-6 weeks. We take great care in editing each image to ensure they're perfect, and we never rush this process. Your photos deserve the time and attention to make them truly stunning.
Do you travel to venues outside of New Hope?
Absolutely! While we're based in New Hope and specialize in Bucks County weddings, we regularly travel throughout Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and the greater Philadelphia area. We've photographed weddings in Hunterdon County, NJ, the Pocono Mountains, Philadelphia, Lancaster, and beyond. Travel within 50 miles of New Hope is included in our packages. For destinations beyond that, we simply add a small travel fee to cover expenses. We love exploring new venues and locations!
What is your photography style?
Our style is best described as documentary with artistic flair. We focus on capturing authentic, candid moments as they naturally unfold—genuine laughter, happy tears, and heartfelt connections. We're not the type to over-pose you or create stiff, awkward photos. Instead, we guide you into flattering positions and then let the real emotions shine through. The result is a beautiful mix of photojournalistic storytelling and timeless, elegant portraits that feel natural and true to who you are.
Can we meet before booking to make sure we're a good fit?
Yes, and we highly encourage it! Chemistry between you and your photographer is so important. We offer complimentary consultations either in person at our New Hope studio, via video call, or at a local coffee shop. This gives us a chance to get to know each other, discuss your vision for the day, review our portfolio, and answer any questions you have. There's no pressure—we want you to feel completely confident in your choice of photographer.
Do you offer engagement photography sessions?
Yes! Engagement sessions are included complimentary with our full-day wedding packages, or can be booked separately. These sessions are perfect for save-the-date cards, wedding websites, and guest books. More importantly, they give us a chance to work together before your wedding day so you feel completely comfortable in front of the camera. We can shoot at iconic New Hope locations like the Delaware Canal, Peddler's Village, downtown New Hope, or any location that's meaningful to you as a couple.
What happens if you're sick or unable to photograph our wedding?
While this has never happened in our 10+ years of business, we always have a backup plan. We maintain relationships with several talented professional photographers in the Bucks County area who we trust implicitly. In the extremely unlikely event of an emergency, we would provide a qualified replacement at no additional cost to you. Your wedding day is too important to leave to chance, and we take our commitment to you very seriously. We're also fully insured for your peace of mind.
Can we request specific shots or a shot list?
Absolutely! We welcome your input and want to make sure we capture everything that's important to you. Before your wedding, we'll provide you with a questionnaire to list must-have family groupings and any specific moments or details you want documented. We'll also discuss the flow of your day to ensure we're in the right place at the right time. That said, we bring 10+ years of wedding photography experience and will also capture many beautiful moments you might not have thought to request—that's where the magic happens!
