The 7 Best Outdoor Wedding Venues in Las Vegas

Las Vegas does outdoor weddings beautifully — if you pick the right season and the right space. These are the outdoor and garden venues we love to photograph, and what makes each one work.

How we picked

We shoot at venues across the valley every week. This list favors spaces with real shade or indoor-outdoor flexibility (it matters May–September), genuine scenery over parking-lot "gardens," and a ceremony spot that photographs well at golden hour.

The venues

1. Emerald at Queensridge

Waterfall gardens and a tree-lined courtyard with Red Rock views — our top all-rounder for an outdoor ceremony plus an indoor ballroom backup.

2. The Grove

A dedicated outdoor wedding garden with all-inclusive packages, surprisingly private for how close it sits to the Strip.

3. Springs Preserve

Botanical gardens, trails and desert architecture — a natural, non-casino setting that photographs beautifully.

4. Canyon Gate Country Club

Outdoor ceremony lawns framed by the Red Rock range, with a marble ballroom for the reception.

5. Red Rock Canyon (Overlook)

The most dramatic free-form desert backdrop in the area — a Special Recreation Permit is required for ceremonies.

6. JW Marriott Resort (Summerlin)

Palm-lined resort gardens with a destination feel without leaving town.

7. Floyd Lamb Park (Tule Springs)

Ponds, big shade trees and roaming peacocks — an unexpected slice of green for a relaxed outdoor ceremony.

Best time of year for an outdoor Vegas wedding

Aim for mid-October through April. Summer outdoor ceremonies are possible but plan for early-morning or post-sunset timing, shade and water for guests. See our guide to the best wedding venues in Las Vegas for indoor options too.

Good to know

Questions, answered

The Grove and Emerald at Queensridge are the top all-around outdoor picks. For raw desert scenery, couples often choose Red Rock Canyon, which requires a Special Recreation Permit.

Yes, but schedule the ceremony for early morning or after sunset, provide shade and water, and have an indoor or covered backup. Mid-October through April is far more comfortable.

Private venues handle their own permits. Public lands like Red Rock Canyon and Valley of Fire require a special-use or photography permit, which we help couples plan around.
